Audience vox pops

"Just to reiterate how much we enjoyed the performance. You have a terrific ease and presence. And the programme was interesting and varied. it kept one involved. You and your brilliant musician easily held the audience's attention. I especially liked the coming full circle with the start of adventure poem".

"Fantastic evening. A one man show is so so difficult and you did it!"

"100 people, that’s brilliant! So nice to have a packed house. I think the name of the show really intrigued people - I spoke to a colleague of mine and she had heard of the event via a contact at a design house in Brighton. Think word of mouth played a great part in the promotion!"

"As I said to you afterwards, I had not been expecting to enjoy it. Perhaps the reason was that I have never really been very good at reading / listening to poetry. I have never been sure that I have the powers of concentration that are necessary for the compressed and precise meaning of a poem. What you had written and the way that you delivered it were a revelation. The language and its rhythm were so exactly right that it was impossible to imagine them being the slightest bit different and your work struck a real chord. I thought that Helen Lunt's ear for what you were doing was perfect as well."

"I enjoyed the performance last night immensely. Tremendous range of material and command of emotion. Helen provides a mesmerising counterpoint to the pyrotechnics of your language. Really well done to all. So glad I came."
